Bleach and tone is a two-part process. The bleach lifts the hair to the level needed for your target shade, and the tone that follows neutralizes unwanted warmth or adds the exact undertone you're after, whether that's icy, beige, or golden. David tailors the toner in-chair based on how the hair lifts, not off a set formula.
